Seventh Grade

Despite things being a little different this year, we ended things on a high note performing in the Little Theatre's production of Sound of Music! 



Our workbooks this year included:





















Once a week Ella wrote an essay on a topic of her choosing...the topics ranged from Brie, to glitter, to Taylor Swift - it was certainly interesting!






Our progress in Math on Prodigy...








She continued to practice her German with Duolingo.










Ella improved her coding skills and listened to lessons on Khan Academy. 

Some of the topics included:

Hyphens, dashes, and ellipses

Introduction to the possessive

Its vs. it's 

Types of prepositions and phrases 

Introduction to prepositions 

Comparative, superlative, intensifiers, and adverbs of degree 

Indefinite pronouns, pronoun vagueness, and emphatic pronouns

Ella enjoyed socializing and plenty of physical activities through her continued participation in dance as well as a new homeschool class on theater production.





Due to the pandemic we did less exploring away from home this year, but we still had plenty of fun learning new things and practicing old ones like she...

*Continued to pursue her skills in art. (Painting, pencil, marker and digital)





*Taught herself to play the Kalimba and the Otamatone


*Continued to expand her cooking skills







*Followed and learned a lot from https://www.youtube.com/c/SnakeDiscovery which only increased her fascination with all things creepy-crawly and slimy ;)
